The Haimila 2 showing area is regionally mapped as Lower Jurassic andesitic volcanic rocks of the Unuk River Formation, Hazelton Group. A 30-centimetre-wide swarm of quartz veining up to 3 centimetres wide was sampled in 2017. The veins are milky white comb quartz with patches of pistachio green epidote. No mineralization was observed. The veins were reported to be hosted by hematitic maroon lapilli tuff with epidote alteration present proximal to vein selvages. A sample of these veins graded 20.9 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Reports 37435).

In 2017, Pretium Exploration conducted grass roots prospecting, sampling, and mapping on their Bowser property, mostly southwest and south of Bowser Lake; 2901 rock and 429 silt samples were collected (Assessment Reports 37435, 37443).

See Betty (104A 008) for details of relevant work done on the Bowser property besides the 2017 discovery work, including significant property-wide geophysical surveys.
